Four divisions. One long-horizon mandate.

Each division generates knowledge, convenes stakeholders, and, where it accelerates impact, implements programmes directly.

Literature, Culture & the Arts

Formats through which ideas may be presented in ways that resonate with younger audiences.

The anchor division. India Tomorrow Foundation collaborates with publishing houses, media institutions, cultural organisations, and archival platforms to create festivals, forums, travelling cultural events, and public conversations that democratise access to literature, history, public policy, identity, and culture.

Over time, the Foundation aims to build a cultural IP comparable in stature to leading literary festivals, with a stronger emphasis on accessibility, regional representation, and immersive experience.

The Foundation will begin with intellectual partnerships and branding collaborations, and will deepen these over time into co-ownership and independently managed cultural properties.

Tech, Climate & Sustainability

Clean air and a healthy environment, treated as public-health and governance priorities.

Significant scientific knowledge and emerging technologies, including data-driven and AI-enabled tools, already exist to advance India's environmental goals. Their adoption can be broadened and made more even. The Foundation brings together policymakers, scientists, technologists, and civil society to identify, test, and scale effective solutions.

This includes closed-door roundtables with experts and practitioners, joint convenings with partner organisations, and city- or state-level pilots pursued through partner institutions. More broadly, the division treats technology as a force multiplier across governance, working with technology leaders and implementation partners to improve institutional efficiency and public service delivery.

Empowerment, Nutrition & Education

Strengthening human capital and expanding equitable access to opportunity.

Advancing nutrition, education, and the empowerment of every community, with particular focus on those with the fewest opportunities, this division recognises that investments in early-childhood nutrition and foundational learning are critical to shaping long-term national outcomes, and that empowering women, LGBTQ+ people, and marginalised communities is central to sustained social and economic progress.

The Foundation will undertake ground-level initiatives including operating educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and targeted welfare programmes such as medical camps, hearing assessments, and eye-care programmes. The division will also support fellowships, scholarships, and mentorship for meritorious students from every background, and youth-engagement initiatives including nationwide student interactions and leadership conversations.

Foreign Policy & International Affairs

Enlarging the number of Indians able to represent the country's thinking wherever it is discussed.

The fourth division addresses India's place in the world. It rests on the judgement that a country of India's weight requires an independent, non-partisan institution capable of sustained work on its external choices, credible to international audiences and rooted in Indian interests.

The division convenes seminars, discussions and events that bring together policymakers, diplomats, scholars, industry and counterparts from abroad, supported by a recurring programme of closed-door roundtables on particular regions and relationships. It hosts visiting delegations, ambassadors and former office-holders, and builds standing exchanges with institutions of comparable purpose in Europe, the Gulf, Africa, Latin America and Asia.

It also deepens public engagement with foreign policy, preparing briefings and background papers for policymakers, practitioners, and the wider public, strictly on a non-partisan basis. Its research covers India's principal bilateral relationships, the reform of multilateral institutions, trade and development partnerships, the geopolitics of technology, and India's role among the countries of the Global South.

The Foundation will also run fellowships and a mentored programme for young Indians in international relations, history and economics, training them in research, drafting and the conduct of dialogue.
